Our drinking water testing program can help you navigate regulations and ensure your water quality meets state and federal requirements.
The EPA Lead and Copper Rule (LCR) establishes allowable limits for lead and copper for schools and childcare facilities. Additionally, the individual states may have more stringent regulations than the EPA LCR. That’s why clients call on our experienced professionals to navigate sampling and testing. We take a four-step approach to ensure your water is safe.
- Plan: We establish a sampling plan that includes source identification and inventory, sampling frequency, sampling constituents, a customizable sampling schedule and sampling methodology such as bottle size, flushing requirements, and first draw sampling.
- Sample: Next, we sample the water from each facility in an efficient and secure method. We oversee the packaging, shipment and analysis of these samples to test for copper, lead, and other metals or contaminants as requested.
- Report: Finally, we complete a draft report within 10-15 days of the analysis. If lead and/or copper concentrations are elevated, we notify client representatives immediately and help develop an action plan.
- Follow Up: We are a true partner to the districts and facilities we serve. We offer advice and counsel, assist with additional or continued sampling and answer any questions with clarifying data as needed.
